About Cynthia Clay

Cynthia Clay

Cynthia is the President and CEO of NetSpeed Learning Solutions, author of Great Webinars: How to Create Interactive Learning that is Captivating, Informative and Fun, and co-author (with Ray Olitt) of her latest book, Peer Power: Transforming Workplace Relationships.

She earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Theatre Directing from the University of Washington and promptly entered the corporate arena, first working in a variety of Human Resource roles for nine years at a regional bank, followed by three years as the manager of the training department at a Seattle-based hospital. She started her consulting practice in 1992 and has since led the development of NetSpeed Learning Solutions, a leading training and development company.

Her diverse clients have included REI, Microsoft, Nielsen, BP, Monsanto, Penn National Gaming, the US Tennis Association, Valero Energy, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and the US Government Accountability Office. She is a member of ISA (the association of learning providers) where she was honored as Contributor of the Year in 2010 and now serves on their Board of Directors. She is a frequent presenter for the American Society for Training & Development (International Conference and local chapters around the country).

Cynthia is passionate about developing dynamic learning experiences that change individual behavior and transform the workplace. She delivers keynotes and workshops that engage the brain, awaken the spirit, and inspire action. Her style is casual (but focused), funny (but professional), and spontaneous (but well-prepared).
